Banks
Industrial and Commercial Bank of China，China Construction Bank，China Citic Bank, China Merchants Bank and Bank of China which are located outside the main gate provide services for deposit and exchange of foreign currencies. US dollar, Euro, Pound, and Yen can be exchanged to RMB. Large amount of foreign currencies and traveler's check can be exchanged to RMB at the Bank of China .The banks usually open from 9:00 to 17:00 every day. On-campus Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) can be found outside cafeterias. It is very convenient for students to withdraw money at any time they like.

Medical Insurance
It is required that international students should purchase a medical insurance during their stay in China, in order to pay for the expense for possible accidental injury and medical treatments in hospitalization. The Comprehensive Insurance & Protection Scheme is provided by the Life Insurance Company of China. It costs 600yuan/person/year. It basically covers the expenses for the medical treatments for accidental injury and hospitalization in public hospitals in the mainland of China. Medical assistance service in emergency is also provided.

Students Activities
Various extracurricular activities for international students are organized each year by International Education College, including sports competitions, sight-seeing tours, Christmas party, etc. Students have one or two opportunities to participate in the grand intentional sport tournaments held by the General Administration of Sport of China every year.
